Our Founder, Carol Ben-Davies, served for years at major universities in Admissions and Leadership. Then she served the Dean of Students’ Office on the front line helping failing students and their parents confront the damaging mental health challenges, threatening experiences and intense social pressures that resulted in their child’s mental and academic breakdown. When the national College Freshman failure rate exceeded 30% and the college dropout rate headed to 40%, Carol Ben-Davies created her company, COLLEGE BOUND DETERMINATION to specifically to help PREVENT those breakdowns that ruin a child’s college journey, and possibly their life.
